ASUS Chromebook Plus CX34 14" Laptop 128GB/8GB RAM (CX3402CVA) Grey (NEW)

The ASUS Chromebook Plus CX34 (model CX3402CVA‑WS388T‑GR) is designed to combine portability and performance for users who want the simplicity of Chrome OS with more horsepower than a basic Chromebook. It features a 14‑inch Full HD (1920 × 1080) IPS display (some versions may come with touch support), delivering clear visuals and color consistency from different viewing angles. The display is rated at around 250 nits brightness and uses an anti‑glare coating to reduce reflections in typical indoor environments.

Under the hood, this CX34 variant is equipped with an Intel Core i3‑1315U processor with 6 cores (some versions of the CX34 also come with Core i5 or higher, depending on the SKU). It includes 8 GB of LPDDR5 memory and 128 GB of UFS storage, which allows for responsive multitasking and relatively fast access to files and applications. The GPU is integrated Intel UHD Graphics, suitable for everyday tasks, media playback, and light workloads.

In terms of connectivity, the CX34 offers a versatile selection of ports: two USB‑A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two USB‑C ports (which support display output and power delivery), one HDMI 1.4 port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. For wireless networking, it supports Wi‑Fi 6 (dual band) and Bluetooth 5.4. The webcam is full HD (1080p) and includes a physical privacy shutter for security.

From a design perspective, this model comes in a Gray (Rocky Grey / “GR”) finish. It carries a lightweight form factor with dimensions around 326.4 mm × 214.3 mm × 18.7 mm (12.85" × 8.44" × 0.74") and a starting weight near 1.44 kg (3.17 lbs) for the base configurations. Its battery is a 50 Wh, 3‑cell lithium‑ion unit, designed to deliver a reasonable runtime under moderate use.

Overall, the ASUS Chromebook Plus CX34 (CX3402CVA‑WS388T‑GR) presents itself as a strong mid‑tier Chromebook option. It balances performance and features (like USB‑C, HDMI, 1080p webcam, and robust connectivity) with a sleek design in a neutral gray finish. It’s well suited for work, study, media consumption, and everyday Chromebook tasks.
